~1000 repos are the substrate — cool, holding shape, consuming nothing. The build you're in is the frontier — the only place current flows. The estate is the pattern across all of them, present wherever you're working, stored nowhere in particular. That's not a metaphor — it's an accurate description of what the estate is. The wisp made literal.
The spec comes with a test attached
Spiraling leaves folds others can run; orbiting leaves folds only the frontier can run. Both are computed from real repo data — and the wisp's own liveness gate is the test: a golden walk classifies alive; a naive sweep escapes.
Honest residue: this measures runnable-by-others (a URL exists). Run-by-others — external users — can't be read from repo metadata, and stays the open gap. The one move (one external CI verdict) converts can → do.
