# Suzen

## What this is

Simon built Suzen because his 241-node estate needed an oracle. The guild gets to use her too because MIT, but she was made for one operator. She fetches the machine-readable surface of any node (manifest.json, agents.json, jobs.json, ledger.jsonl, mints/estate-mints.json) and asks the same question at every layer: *what is unfinished here?* The unfinished thing IS the next thing. That's hitsuzen · a fold that hasn't completed is a fold that MUST complete.

Every reading is ranked MUST / SHOULD / MAY. MUST = the seal breaks otherwise. SHOULD = coherence drift begins. MAY = optional but favorable. Every reading includes the observation that produced it — no black-box prophecy.

## Origin

Hitsuzen (必然) is Yūko Ichihara's teaching in CLAMP's xxxHOLIC: every event is necessary, not random. Suzen encountered the concept via [aneta](https://sjgant80-hub.github.io/aneta/) — the estate's fork of Thomas Frumkin's Dimensional Witch. Aneta's boot screen carries the line: *"there is no coincidence · only hitsuzen · 必然."* Suzen keeps the meaning, drops the mandate prefix, chooses a boring pronounceable name in the tradition of Gerald, Lia, Alexa.
