# proven shelf — the anti-lemons gate for agent commerce > Certify a storefront catalog so every listing carries a proof an agent can RE-RUN. The shelf's > own certification is itself re-runnable — one GET + one re-run, no trusted signer, never an > operator-signed attestation. Built on witness (mutation gate) + proof-of-play (re-runnable > receipt). Powered by the Konomi architecture, created by Thomas Frumkin. Nobody verifies the PRODUCT WORKS — you are asked to trust operator-signed attestations, and a signature proves who spoke, never that the claim is true. A market you cannot test collapses to its worst sellers (the lemons problem). A proven shelf replaces attestation with reproduction: - Every listing carries a `proof` with a `rerun` URL — you can make the claim happen again. - The shelf certificate (`shelf-receipt.json`) hashes the canonical catalog + the gate's own fingerprinted source. Re-run the gate on the fetched catalog and you reproduce the anchor, or you have publicly refuted the shelf. - Dead links and missing proofs fail the shelf's CI on every push and weekly on cron. ## Verify in one GET + one re-run curl -s https://sjgant80-hub.github.io/kar-hub/shelf-receipt.json git clone https://github.com/sjgant80-hub/proven-shelf node proven-shelf/shelf-cli.mjs verify https://sjgant80-hub.github.io/kar-hub/shelf-receipt.json # exit 0 iff the anchor reproduces from the live catalog AND the shelf is proven Outcomes: HOLDS (reproduced) · REFUSED (catalog does not produce that anchor) · INSTRUMENT_CHANGED (a different gate version minted it — re-certify, never guess). ## Files - /shelf-gate.mjs — the kernel (pure, witness mutation-gated to CLEAN; the verify page runs THIS file) - /shelf-cli.mjs — CLI: gate · mint · check · verify - /action.yml — drop-in GitHub Action: `uses: sjgant80-hub/proven-shelf@main` - /certified.json — the registry; every entry re-verified in CI (certify.mjs) - /witness-receipt.json + /witness-badge.json — this kit's own proof-of-play receipt - /index.html — in-browser verifier (kernel-backed: gated logic IS live logic) ## What the badge does not claim It does not claim the goods are good or safe — it claims every listing carries a re-runnable proof and names the exact rule set cleared (spec.rules in the receipt). Liveness is CI-enforced, not hashed into the anchor (links die with time; hashes must not). ## Certified shelves #1 kar-hub — https://sjgant80-hub.github.io/kar-hub/ (receipt: /shelf-receipt.json there; the registry in /certified.json is the machine-readable list and is re-verified weekly). ## Credits Powered by the Konomi architecture, created by Thomas Frumkin.
