Every LLM-driven answer engine has the same problem: they hallucinate. They sound confident. They cite real-looking sources that don't say what's claimed. And there's no easy way for you to know which sentences survived an honest stress-test.
HONESTLY is built on a different doctrine.
Every factual claim returned by the synthesis LLM gets three independent verification passes. Each pass is framed differently · one tries to refute, one tries to confirm, one stays neutral and weighs evidence. The verdict is two-of-three. Claims that don't survive get listed openly under "refuted claims" · same honesty pattern that won attention for nhs-reinjection's ~£600m/year thesis (we listed which campaign claims got KILLED in adversarial verification · which made the surviving claims more credible).
The whole answer is then signed against your Konomi Ed25519 keypair. The envelope contains the question, the timestamp, the cited claims, the refuted-claims list, the source URLs, and the audit-chain hash. Share the envelope · anyone who has your public key can cryptographically verify what you got told, when, by which sources. Try doing that with Perplexity.
